Early life 

Meek Mill was born in 1987, on 6th May. He is an American by birth with his origin from Philadelphia. His original name was Robert Rihmeek Williams, and his mother was Kathy Williams. As he grew, he stayed close to her sister as his father died five years.

The upbringing of Meek Mill was full of poverty. His father’s death was a result of brutality in a robbery incident. A severe incident forced Meek Mills’s mother to serve as a hairdresser to support the family. Some of the measures she took to limit costs were to starve the children.

However, Meek Mill has an uncle who was a disk jockey. He played a massive role in making him a great musician. The source of inspiration to Meek Mill was this uncle.
